Client: Whale Guardians™
Challenge: Ever since I co-initiated the Climate Giant proposition for Whale & Dolphin Conservation I’ve been deeply in love with whales and their amazing role in marine ecosystems that are so vital to the planet and the human species. This has led me to get involved with Whale Guardians™ who are solely dedicated to preventing unintentional ship strikes with whales. This is one of the main causes of human inflicted death for whales.
Solution: My involvement is pro bono and involves everything having to do with innovation, strategy, experience design, proposition design and marketing. Also I’m representing Whale Guardians™ on international shipping industry conferences like CLIA 24 in Genoa.

Client: Blue Carbon Society / Department of Marine & Coastal Resources Thailand / MQDC
Challenge:
Developing an experience masterplan for a marine research facility, conservation and rehabilitation center for dugongs, seagrass and sea turtles in the Andaman sea in South Thailand. A pre-feasibility study to map the necessary conservation measures to restore critical dugong populations.
Solution: Our involvement included a round of marine conservation expert interviews and marine research / rehabilitation site visits around the globe. We then translated our insights into the design of an ecosystem that included a physical facility as well as partnerships, educational programs, community engagement, and international collaboration. Experience design and site development embedded in a strong stakeholder network, community participation and partnerships.

Client: MQDC Thailand
Challenge:
Developing an experience masterplan with key internal and external stakeholders for a flood resilient mixed use development in the Chao Phraya River in Thailand. Involving seasonal flooding measures, stilt and floating homes, an extensive electric water mobility ecosystem, regenerative nature conservation and mixed use programming.
Solution: During the first year of this engagement our work focused on creating the ‘living with water’ strategy for key stakeholders, zones and programming elements. This included the experience design of civil engineering measures and water mobility solutions, as well as the water resilience and experience design of housing, retail, hospitality and attractions. Our work involved the alignment of over 60 internal team members and 10 different external experts and consultants. Our ‘living with water’ strategy has become the shared foundation and design guideline for the project.
